On Nov. 21, Pop Pistol will be playing at Limelight. The show? The entirety of their first official album Angelus.
Pop Pistol will host two events in celebration of the 10th anniversary of Angelus. On Nov. 21, a 21+ live concert will be held at Limelight, where the band will play the album front-to-back. On Nov. 25, an all-ages celebration will be held at Friends of Sound Records. Tickets can be purchased online.

Bastille is making its way back to the Alamo City after closing out Maverick Music Festival last year. On Nov. 12, the UK band will perform at the Majestic Theatre with The Moth & the Flame.
KRTU will be giving away a pair of tickets to the show. Instructions on how to enter will be posted on Indie Overnight’s Facebook and Instagram prior to the show.

When Leo Trujillo was 21 years old, he went to New York City for the first time, came back with the desire to become a DJ and started hosting a show on KSYM called “House Nation.”

Sidney Gish is a Boston-based artist who released her second album last December. She is currently a student at Northeastern University and plans to work on a third album during her next Winter Break.

Free Cake for Every Creature released its latest album, The Bluest Star, through Brooklyn-based record label Double Double Whammy on Aug. 3. Katie Bennett, the musician behind the project, started making music for the project privately in 2012. Dominic Anthony, Indie Overnite Music Director, interviewed Bennett earlier this month.

Lala Lala released its second album The Lamb on Hardly Art on Sept. 28. The album deals with the personal trauma songwriter, guitarist and lead vocalist Lillie West experienced after her home was broken into while she slept and after the death of close friends. It’s also West’s first album since she embraced sobriety.
We sat down with Lillie West before her show at Paper Tiger on Oct. 6.
